Winner Pulled In Park Lawn Queen of Hearts Raffle, Splits $108K

OAK LAWN, IL — Winner, winner, chicken dinner — or in this case $54,237.40. That’s how much Mary M. won in Park Lawn’s Queen of Hearts raffle on Wednesday, splitting a $108,475 jackpot.

The raffle was temporarily suspended during the pandemic, but resumed when suburban restaurants and bars were allowed to reopen in June. A few weeks ago, a player pulled a joker and reset the board. Earlier in the week the jackpot was $103,000, and by Wednesday it had swelled to over $108,000.

Mary picked the #23 position during Wednesday’s big draw at At The Office Sports Bar and Grill in Crestwood. At the Office has generously offered its venue for the weekly Queen of Hearts pull for Park Lawn. Mary was not present, so she split the pot $50,000, the other half going toward Park Lawn’s services and programs for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Queen will go back into hiding when the progressive raffle begins anew on Sept. 16 with a jackpot of $5,500. The weekly drawing takes place at 7 p.m. every Wednesday, at At The Office Sports Bar and Grill, 4901 Cal Sag Road, Crestwood.

Tickets are on sale now for the Sept. 16 drawing: 6 for $5 (tickets can be purchased in $5 increments), 10 for $12, or 24 for $20. No single tickets will be sold. Players must be 18 or older. Ticket sales end at 7 p.m. the night of the drawing. One ticket will be drawn every Wednesday at 7:15.
