Winter StoryWalk This Monday At Lake Shore Park
Turn the pages on a new a book when the Oak Lawn Park District and Library debut a new story Monday, Jan. 21, at Lake Shore Park.
OAK LAWN, IL -- Join the Oak Lawn Park District and the Oak Lawn Public Library at Lake Shore Park, 9610 E. Shore Dr. for a Winter StoryWalk event from 1 to 2 pm. Monday, January 21. This season’s featured book is “Winter is Here” by Kevin Henkes.
This event is FREE. Enjoy crafts and refreshments and a walk along the pathway while reading this season’s featured book. StoryWalk transforms the pages of a children's storybook into signs placed sequentially along the walking trail at Lake Shore Park. The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Vermont Bicycle & Pedestrian Coalition and Kellogg Hubbard Library.
