Woman Jumps From Christ Hospital Parking Tower: Police
An Evergreen Park woman has died after jumping from the parking tower at Advocate Christ Medical Center, police said.

OAK LAWN, IL — An Evergreen Park woman is believed to have intentionally jumped from a parking tower at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn on Thursday afternoon, according to police. She was identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner as 44-year-old Jennifer Steinhaus.
Around 1:50 p.m., Oak Lawn Regional Emergency Communications received reports of a person jumping from the seventh floor of the parking tower in the 9400 block of South Kostner Avenue, on the east side of the medical center. While en route, officers learned that a woman threw herself from the top floor, police said in a news release.
Chicago Ridge paramedics were already at the hospital when they heard the call, and immediately provided aid and CPR to the woman.

Steinhaus was pronounced dead in the hospital emergency room, Oak Lawn police said.
