Women Fight Over Man Recovering From Gunshot Wound
Duty nurse breaks up scuffle between women at Christ Hospital, cops say.

A nurse had to break up a scuffle between two women visiting a patient at Advocate Christ Medical Center, reports said.
The 18-year-old girlfriend was visiting her boyfriend as he recovered from a gunshot wound, when the man’s ex-girlfriend, also 18, stopped by to visit.
According to the report, the ex-girlfriend began to physically attack the girlfriend by pulling her hair and digging her fingernails into her hands.

The girlfriend admitted to police that she punched the ex-girlfriend in the face in an attempt to defend herself, and cutting her hand. She has no prior relationship with the woman other than knowing she is her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend.
During the scuffle, the on-duty nurse attempted to pull both 18-year-old women apart. The nurse sustained minor scratch marks on her hands and arms while trying to separate the two. The nurse said she would be satisfied if the ex-girlfriend was issued a village citation for disorderly conduct.
