BURBANK, IL -- A Worth man was arrested after broke into two professional offices in Burbank and vandalized them, prosecutors said. Mohammed Abdellatif, 27, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on felony burglary charges. He was nabbed after he allegedly left his car fob in one of the offices.

The prosecutor said that on Aug. 27, Abdellatif entered MAG & Associates LLC at 5501 W. 79th St., Burbank. Abdellatif allegedly proceeded to damage the office’s computers, video camera, electronics, tables and chairs, and steal a coin box. Abdellatif is also accused of using a decorative letter opener which he swiped from the first office to pry his way into Universal Dental. There, Abdellatif was reportedly captured on video taking $1,000 out of a safe. Abdellatif dropped his car fob, leading to his arrest, the prosecutor said.

“I’d say something is wrong, not saying he’s guilty,” Judge Felice said. “What pleasure does someone get destroying property?”
