You Better Watch Out, Santa's Coming To The Oak Lawn Village Green
Santa, Mrs. Claus and their gang will be visiting with good boys and girls at Oak Lawn's 'Santa On The Green,' Saturday, Nov. 26.
OAK LAWN, IL — It’s that time for a meet-up with Santa and Mrs. Claus for the happiest event of the year, “Santa on the Green,” from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26. Santa, his numero uno lady and their friend the Grinch, will be arriving by firetruck on the Oak Lawn Village Green, 9446 S. Raymond Ave., behind the library. This holiday event is FREE.
Tagging along with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be their bff’s Frosty the Snowman, Princess Elsa and Olaf, Elf the Stiltwalker (who looks amazingly like Uncle Sam the Stiltwalker), and everyone’s favorite curmudgeon, the Grinch.
The local school choirs from Dist. 123 will sing like angels from noon to 12:15 p.m. Victorian carolers will also be strolling about, and the candy cane chute will return as a special treat. Kiddos can post a letter to Santa at the North Pole Mailbox, no postage required, but feel free to use a Christmas Seal.
