$2,500 Worth Of Wire Stolen From Oak Park Construction Site

OAK PARK, IL — Several thousand dollars worth of copper wire was stolen from a construction site Feb.7 in Oak Park, police said. Two suspects remain at large, according to police.

The site was robbed between 2:50 a.m. and 3:10 a.m. in the 1000 block of Lake Street, police said.

The robbers went into a storage unit on the second floor of the construction site and stole copper wire valued at $2,570, according to the Oak Park Police Department.
