2 Men, 2 Teens Charged In Oak Park Robbery, Carjacking: Cops

OAK PARK, IL — Two men and two juveniles were arrested in connection with an attempted carjacking and robbery that took place in Oak Park Friday. Antonio Cole, 20, of Chicago, and Dion Butts, 21, of Hillside, and the juveniles were charged with attempted aggravated vehicular hijacking, aggravated robbery, and aggravated assault, according to a police report.

Police say Butts, Cole, and the juveniles were charged after an incident was reported in the 100 block of S. Elmwood at approximately 7 p.m.

According to police, Butts was in possession of a stolen motor vehicle at the time of his arrest and was driving with a suspended license. One of the juveniles also had an outstanding warrant for armed robbery in Cook County, police say.
