Carmel Kelley was found Friday afternoon in Melrose Park.
A woman who had been missing from Oak Park Thursday morning was found in Melrose Park on Friday afternoon, Oak Park police announced.
Carmel Kelley, who’s 62 years old and a Glendale Heights resident, suffers from dementia and has a short-term memory, her family told cops Thursday. They were worried when no one could find her after 9 a.m. She’d last been seen in the area of Oak Park Avenue and Madison Street.
Kelley was found at 3:30 p.m. at a Meijer’s on Winston Plaza in Melrose Park, police said, and returned home safely.
