AGENDA: Oak Park Village Board Meeting, Sept. 26

A special meeting of the Oak Park Village Board will take place 7:30 p.m. Monday at , 123 Madison St. The meeting will be preceded by a closed executive session at 6:30 p.m.

Included on the special agenda are: 

• The public health department's submission of an IPLAN, a proposal that aims to work on five areas of concern: obesity, teen alcohol and drug use, mental health for all ages, chronic disease, and the inability to access adequate health and dental care.
• A vote on the (CCA) Plan in which Oak Park will bundle residential and some commercial electricity accounts and seek cheaper or cleaner power sources. The plan will identify key players and outline the process of implementing it.
• A "brief" discussion on the enviromental impact of that cut right through Oak Park.
