OPRF Youth Football League Heavyweight Team caps undefeated season with Superbowl win!
Congratulations to the Oak Park River Forest Youth Football League Heavyweight Division team for its recent Superbowl win in The Chicagoland Youth Football League!
The OPRFYFL Heavyweights, led by Coaches Steve “Bud” Budorick and Sean Harmon, went undefeated during the 2011 regular football season (9-0) by outscoring its opponents 271 points to 66 points. But they didn’t stop there.
In the playoffs, the Heavyweights proceeded to win its first round match against Buffalo Grove (24-19) and then its second round playoff game against Western Kenosha County (34-12).

To cap off its impressive undefeated season, the Heavyweights then went on to win its Superbowl Championship by defeating a very tough Antioch team (34-32).
