Animal Care League Holiday Bazaar

Give a gift this year that will give a shelter pet the gift of life and a forever home!

The Animal Care League will be celebrating their 29th year of hosting the Holiday Bazaar which will be Friday December 5th 3-9pm and Saturday December 6th 9am-3pm. This event has been a major fundraiser for the Oak Park Animal Care League all these years, and is not to be missed. Are you looking for just the right gift for someone (including your furry friend), new holiday décor, lights, or some fresh baked goodies? We have all the answers for your shopping list. Perhaps you are looking for a way to escape the holiday hustle and bustle? Stop by and get a massage from Stephanie Skrine while listening to one of our local musicians. We will be hosting this at 6930 West Roosevelt Road in Oak Park. (Directly across from Culvers Restaurant). Another plus is the off-street parking in the lot just west of the building! Look for our banner and the big snowman! All proceeds benefit the Animal Care League in their efforts to care for those four-footed friends that are looking for new homes.

Besides all the wonderful gift items and decorations, don’t miss the opportunity to sign up for our famous basket raffle, have some coffee and baked goods, or a bowl of veggie chili and listen to some great local musicians.

Need to keep the kids busy while you shop? We will continue to provide the special “kid’s corner”again this year, with activities for them to enjoy (including face painting!) while you find those perfect holiday gifts.

Need one of those pictures for your holiday card or your mantle? Santa will be there on Saturday December 6th 10am-2pm. Bring the whole family (including your favorite furry friends) for that photo to cherish and send to your friends. Your furry friends can help you pick out a favorite toy, treat, or gift basket for them that Santa Paws has waiting there!

The Animal Care League is a non-profit humane society with over 40 years of helping animals in Oak Park, Berwyn, Forest Park, River Forest, and other surrounding communities . The ACL is located at 1011 Garfield in Oak Park. Not only do we provide housing for homeless pets, but also offer humane education and a low-cost spay neuter clinic. Each year, the ACL adopts out over 700 pets to loving homes. The Holiday Bazaar is one of the biggest fundraisers in this effort.
