Armed Females Rob Store In Oak Park: Police

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park police are investigating an armed robbery that took place on October 7. According to a police report, the incident took place in the 200 block of Chicago.

Police say that around 11 a.m., two women entered the store and one woman bought an item before leaving. The second woman then stole several lottery tickets, according to police.

An employee working at the time told second suspect then opened her purse and showed a gun to the employee before fleeing in a small white car.
