Armed Men Steal Car On Highland In Oak Park: Cops

OAK PARK, IL --- A woman's car was stolen at gunpoint Thursday evening in Oak Park, police say. The carjacking took place around 6:15 p.m. in the 1100 block of Highland.

According to police, four men came up to the driver's side door and told the victim to get out of her white 2017 Ford Escape and leave her purse and cellphone on the front seat. The victim told police one of the suspects was armed with a gray handgun.

Oak Park police later found the car with the help of the Chicago Police Department.
