Armed Men Steal Jacket, Phone From Pedestrian In Oak Park: Cops
The robbers targeted their victim in the early hours of Halloween.
OAK PARK, IL --- Police in Oak Park are investigating an incident in which two men robbed a pedestrian at gunpoint. The incident took place early Halloween morning in the 500 block of S. Austin.
The victim told police that two men with handguns came up to him and hit him around 4:45 a.m. The suspects then stole the victim's white leather jacket and an iPhone 5. The offenders were last seen fleeing east on Madison, according to police.
