Armed Robber Steals ATM Card, Cash In Oak Park
The victim drove off, but left his card in the ATM.

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park police are looking for an armed man who tried to rob a Chicago resident at an ATM Friday. Police say the victim fled, but left his ATM card behind, which allowed the armed robber to withdraw cash.
According to police, the incident took place at around 9:35 p.m. in the 6000 block of North Ave. The victim was at the ATM in their car when a man with a black mask covering half of his face approached.
The victim told police the man showed a black handgun and demanded cash. The victim then fled, but his ATM card was in the machine and he later learned that $400 had been withdrawn from his account.
