Armed Robbery at 7-Eleven in Oak Park: Man Steals Receipt Printer

The man didn't take any cash, but he made off with a receipt printer valued at around $150.

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park Police are looking for a man committed an armed robbery at 7-Eleven last Tuesday. The man was reportedly armed with a knife during the incident, according to Chicago Tribune.

The robbery took place at the 7-Eleven located at 661 South Blvd. shortly before 1:30 a.m. on April 18. After entering the store, the man showed employes a knife, which he later dropped to steal a receipt printer. He then fled eastbound on Euclid Ave., police reported.

The suspect is described as a black male, early 20s, with a light complexion. At the time of the armed robbery at 7-Eleven, the man was wearing a black hat, light blue jeans and a red hooded sweatshirt.
