Based on the (in)famous film “Monty Python and the Holy Grail,” this retelling follows the parody of King Arthur and his band of hilariously awkward knights. Fans of the movie and newcomers alike are sure enjoy non-stop laughs delivered by this zany musical, which features killer rabbits, cancan dancers and madcap adventures. “Spamalot” is written by original Monty Python comedy troupe member Eric Idle. This time it’s personal. And live. Or maybe not personal. Just live. Or maybe a little bit personal.

Pederson has most recently directed “Talley’s Folly,” “Twelfth Night” and “Chivalry Me Timbers!” for the A.C.T. He is a nationally recognized playwright and has been an associate professor of English at Concordia University Chicago since 2009. His play “In the Soundless Awe,” co-written with Jayme McGhan, will be performed in New York City at the New Light Theater Project in their upcoming season.
