Artists Sought To Create Mural On Green Line Corridor In Oak Park
Apply for a chance to help transform the Green Line Corridor with your artwork.

OAK PARK, IL — The village of Oak Park is looking for 20 artists to help brighten up the Green Line Corridor's concrete walls by creating an original mini-mural. Selected artists will receive a stipend for materials ahead of the project, in addition to another stipend when the mural is done.
Artists have two chances to apply. The first round of artists artists will be picked from applications submitted by the first deadline is April 20. Officials say another round of artists will be selected after a June 15 deadline.

The mini-mural will add on to other artwork from previous mini-mural projects. The colorful creations are part of the Oak Park Area Arts Council's goal to add colorful outdoor art between Harlem Avenue to Austin Boulevard.
