Artists Wanted for 5th Annual Oak Park Sculpture Walk

Oak Park, IL - The Public Art Advisory Commission is looking for artists to display their work from June 5 to Sept. 5 at the 5th Annual Oak Park Sculpture Walk.

All participating artists will receive an honorarium of $2,000, according to the village.

The deadline for submissions is April 25. About 12 sculpture or installations works will be chosen for the outdoor exhibit in Mills Park at Pleasant and Home avenues in Oak Park. Sculptures must stay in place through all the exhibit dates.

When the sculpture walk ends, the Village of Oak Park may consider buying pieces for a permanent collection. The village has bought work from previous sculpture walk winners.
