Award winning singer/songwriter and Chicago Force Quarterback Sami Grisafe Joins Fear No Art's "The Dinner Party"

Sami Grisafe will join film director Joe Swanberg, artistic director of the Joffrey Ballet Ashley Wheater and Paul Virant, Executive Chef of Perennial Virant, Vistro & Vie at THE DINNER PARTY tonight with host Elysabeth Alfano. The event will take place at Chicago’s iconic City Winery (1200 W Randolph) an will be filmed live and streaming on The Sun Times’ ChicagoSplash.com/DinnerParty.

In 2012 Sami earned six Grammy pre-nominations for her ATLANTIS album, and in 2013 received the Chicago Music Award for “Best Rock Entertainer.” She has garnered national attention for her performance of the National Anthem with more than 38,000 views on YouTube. Sami is currently working in the studio on two new singles and a music video slated for release February 14, 2015.

Off-stage, Sami is a world MVP quarterback who played with the Chicago Force women’s football team for 8 years. She recently became the first woman in the state of California to be inducted into her high school Hall of Fame for football.

The Dinner Party is a monthly show broadcast live on Sun Times-Splash Section website in front of a live audience. Alfano invites 3 national or Chicago celebs (mostly artists, but also entrepreneurs and inventors) and a well-known chef to join her for dinner.
