Barwin Watch: First Wisconsin, Now Sarasota

Sarasota Patch reports former Oak Park village manager Tom Barwin is one of four finalists for the city manager job in the Sunshine State. 

Last week, , which reported Barwin is finalist for the city administrator job there. 

Barwin, of course,  resigned from the Oak Park job back in February. Since then, the search has been on for a new village manager. The Oak Park village board last month approved a search firm, Slavin Management Consultants, to begin scouting for the job.

A public meeting held on Thursday seeking the community feedback about the search had poor turnout, Wednesday Journal reports. Slavin is expected to put forth a draft of the search criteria later this month.
