Berwyn Man Charged With 2 Fatalities In DUI Crash: Cops
Jordan Michalak, 23, of Berwyn, was charged in the October deaths of William Molthop, 60, of Roselle, and Vincent Neri, 62, of Melrose Park.

BERWYN, IL — A 23-year-old Berwyn man has been charged in the DUI-related deaths of two people after a collision that took place in Lyons on October 9. Police say Jordan Michalak, 23, was under the influence when he hit a car and caused the deaths of William Molthop, 60, of Roselle, and Vincent Neri, 62, of Melrose Park.
According to witnesses, both vehicles were traveling through an intersection with a green light. Molthop and Neri were later pronounced dead at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood.
Michalak has been charged with two counts of reckless homicide and two counts of DUI causing death. He is set to appear Thursday in Bridgeview.

Lyons Police worked with Illinois State Police and the Cook County State's Attorney's Office on an investigation that led to the charges against Michalak.
