Berwyn Man Wins $250,000 Lottery Prize
The winning ticket was bought at Ram Liquors in Berwyn.

Berwyn, IL - A Berwyn man instantly won $250,000 on a lottery scratch-off ticket he bought from a Berwyn liquor store.
Dan Koziol picked up an Illinois Lottery King’s Ransom ticket at Ram Liquors, 6515 Cermak Road in Berwyn, according to the Illinois Lottery.
“I can’t believe I won a quarter of a million dollars,” Koziol said when he brought his winning ticket to the Lottery Prize Center in Des Plaines.

“When I realized what I had won, I signed the back of my ticket right away and then went straight home to show it to my wife,” he said.
Koziol plans to use the money for home improvements and investing for retirement. Ram Liquors received a bonus of $2,500, which is one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
