WHY: The 24th Annual Berwyn Rt66 Car Show sponsored by Paisans Pizzeria & Bar will be held on Ogden Avenue in Berwyn. Berwyn has always been a great Route 66 town with a thriving, dynamic and fast-growing community at its heart. The Route 66 Car Show is the area’s best and biggest car show, attracting more than 30,000 visitors every first Saturday of September.
Plan to make your trip to Route 66 a weekend getaway! Come out to Berwyn Rt66 Car Show Friday Night Pre-Show Cook-Out at Paisans Pizzeria & Bar on Sept 5 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. There is limited space to show off cars. Show spaces are free, but reservation is required. Call 708-484-5325 to reserve your spot. NOTE: Registration in the pre-show cook-out is not related to registration for the main event on Saturday. These are separate registrations.
On Sept 6, visitors can soak up the classic car culture of Historic Route 66 with a stroll through over 500 vintage and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles. Demonstrations of Automobile Flamethrowing by the Roamin’ Chariots will thrill spectators at 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Legendary WLS DJ & Radio Hall of Famer Dick Biondi will sign autographs and award trophies from Noon - 4:00 pm. The event also features live music from Chicagoland’s top youth rock band Wireless Soul, and Rick “Elvis” Saucedo will perform an Elvis musical showcase from Noon – 2:00 p.m. at Ogden Top & Trim. Spectator admission is free so bring the whole family! For those seeking an early peek, vehicles start their procession to their parking spots around 7:00 am. The event officially runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sat, Sept 6.

For those interested in displaying their vehicles, online registration is available at www.berwynrt66.com. Registered participants receive a t-shirt, dash plaque and goodie bag with completed registration. “Fun” awards are also doled out in a wide variety of categories with names including “B-B-B-Bad to the Bone,” “Hog Heaven,” “Impressive Import,” “Hot Hauler,” “Pleasantly Preserved,” and “Slo & Lo” to name a few.
