Big-Screen TVs Stolen From Storage Facility In Oak Park: Cops

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park police are looking for a suspect or suspects who stole two large-screen TVs from a storage facility. Police say the incident took place sometime between 8 a.m. Monday and 4:50 p.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of S. Maple.

According to police, the suspect(s) got into the shared storage area using a key and then used a "pry type tool" to attempt to get into a dozen storage lockers. Two 32-inch flat screen TVs were reported stolen from one person's locker.

Police say the total loss was estimated at $3,200.
