Burglar Enters School Through Unlocked Window In Oak Park: Cops
Police say a suspect entered Lincoln Elementary School over winter break via an unlocked window.
OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park police are looking for a suspect or suspects who got into an elementary school via an unlocked window over winter break. The incident took place at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School in the 1100 block of S. Grove, police say.
According to a police summary, the burglar(s) got in through an unlocked window sometime between Dec. 22 and Dec. 27. Once inside, the suspect(s) entered several locked classrooms by removing the hinge pins on the doors to the rooms. At press time, nothing was reported as missing from the school.
