Burglar Steals 4 Guns, Ammo, Big-Screen TV In Oak Park: Cops

OAK PARK, IL --- Police in Oak Park are investigating a burglary in which a shotgun, four handguns, and multiple electronic items were taken from a home in the 1100 block of N. Ridgeland. The burglary took place Monday night between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., according to a police summary.

Police say the suspect or suspects forced open a back door to gain entry to the home. Once inside, they stole the following items:

• Shotgun
• 3 handguns
• Ammunition
• iPad Air
• iPad Pro
• 50-inch plasma TV

The total loss was estimated at $5,500. Anyone who has information about this burglary is asked to call Oak Park police at 708-434-1636.
