The Oak Brook Healing Field, presented by True Patriots Care, will commemorate the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, with a powerful display of 2,977 American flags honoring the men and women who lost their lives that day. Each flag will include a biography, helping visitors connect with the individual stories behind the tribute.
The ceremony held at 6pm on September 11th will feature notable guest speakers including Sue Mladenik, wife of Flight #11 passenger Jeff Mladenik, Craig Donnelly, nephew of FDNY Lt. Kevin Donnelly, as well as the music by the Emerald Society and U.S. Navy Band. Here is the complete schedule for the 25th anniversary event:

Open 24 hours a day beginning at 6pm on September 9 through September 13th at 2pm, the Healing Field invites the community to walk among the flags for a meaningful experience of remembrance, reflection and unity. The event will also include opening and closing ceremonies, along with daily programs honoring the lives lost and the lasting legacy of September 11.
