Colombian-American artist Sandra Delgado brings The Sandra Delgado Experience to Dominican University's Lund Auditorium on Friday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m.
Delgado, best known as the creator of the acclaimed Chicago production La Havana Madrid, leads a ten-piece multicultural ensemble through high-energy cumbias, sultry boleros, and reimagined English-language classics. The evening draws on the musicians who shaped her own upbringing in Chicago's Latino community, blending Colombian folkloric music, Latin American rhythms, and storytelling into a show that begins as cabaret and ends as a dance party.
