Car Burglarized In Oak Park: Police
Police say someone smashed the window of the vehicle and stole a briefcase containing business checks.
OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park Police are looking for information on a car burglary that took place early Wednesday morning. The suspect reportedly smashed the window of a pickup truck in the 200 block of Chicago Ave. and removed several items.
The victim told police that they had left their Ford F150 unattended around 7:30 a.m., but when they returned around 7:45 a.m., they found someone had damaged the rear passenger window and gained entry to the truck.
A possible suspect was seen fleeing in a tan Infinity sedan.

Police say a lunch box and a briefcase that contained business checks were stolen. The loss was estimated at $200.
