Car Stolen From Garage In Oak Park: Cops

OAK PARK, IL — Police in Oak Park are investigating an incident in which a car was stolen from a resident's garage sometime between late Saturday and early Sunday. The theft was reported in the 1000 block of N. Humphrey.

The victim told police they last saw their car in the garage of their home around 7 p.m. Saturday. When the resident when into their garage Sunday at approximately 7:30 a.m., they noticed that their black 1999 Mercedes Benz E-430 had been stolen.

According to police, the victim said the suspect or suspects likely used a key that was under the driver's side seat to steal the vehicle.
