Car Stolen At Gunpoint In Oak Park: Police

OAK PARK, IL — Police are looking for two teen suspects who stole a car at gunpoint in Oak Park Monday afternoon. The armed carjacking took place in the 700 block of Wesley Ave. at approximately 4 p.m.

Police say the victim, a Forest Park man, was reading a newspaper in his 2012 Honda Accord when he was approached by two men. One of the suspects, who was armed, demanded that the driver get out of the car.

The victim complied and the suspect fled in the Accord, heading south on Wesley. The victim told police the other suspect got into a green or gold SUV that was driven by a third suspect and fled.

Chicago police later recovered the Accord in the 4400 block of W. Gladys Ave.
