Chicago Plastic Surgeon Opens Institute Dedicated to Rhinoplasty

The Rhinoplasty Institute of Chicago, offering minimally invasive and other advanced procedures for patients with nasal deformities, has opened offices in Oak Brook and Tinley Park, Illinois. Dr. Jay Dutton, director of The Rhinoplasty Institute of Chicago, is pleased to offer preeminent care for patients needing functional or cosmetic nasal surgery.

Dr. Dutton has extensive experience in advanced and minimally invasive rhinoplasty (nasal surgery) and performs more than 100 rhinoplasties each year plus hundreds of sinus surgeries. He is double board certified in otolaryngology (ENT) and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and is specially trained to perform both cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty.

While specializing in rhinoplasty, Dr. Dutton also performs other facial plastic procedures, such as facelifts, brow lifts and injectables. He recognizes that the extreme complexity of facial anatomy is best suited to surgeons exclusively devoted to facial procedures.

Dr. Dutton previously served as chief of the Sections of Facial Plastic Surgery & Reconstructive Surgery and Rhinology at Rush University Medical Center for eight years and, as an Associate Professor, is still strongly involved in the training of students, residents and fellows at Rush. He is well-respected in these subspecialties by his peers, having published numerous peer-reviewed articles on rhinoplasty, facial plastic surgery, and functional considerations in nasal and sinus surgery.

He is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Rhinologic Society, and American College of Surgeons, among other organizations. He is also a diplomate of both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and American Board of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Dutton has been featured on ABC7 News, EHealth Radio, in the Chicago Tribune and recently spoke at the American Rhinologic Society’s Chicago Summer Symposium. In addition, he has made nine reconstructive surgery trips to Haiti, including in the immediate aftermath of the 2010 earthquake, and the Dominican Republic.
