Community Survey Will Help Drive Budget Discussions
Residents who receive mailer are urged to return them and offer feedback.

A survey soon will follow – and officials are hoping you'll please answer it.

A random number of residents can provide feedback that will drive 2012 budget discussions and strategic planning, village officials said.
Pre-notification postcards inviting residents to participate will go out this week. Analyses will be completed as the board of trustees will be working through next year’s spending package. Respondents will remain anonymous.

“We are encouraging people to return them so we can get the best return rate possible, said Rob Cole, Oak Park’s assistant village manager.
The survey will be done by NRC, which conducted village assessments in 2000, 2004 and 2008. Instructions will be included in the assessment. Those looking more information are asked to call (708) 358-5791 or e-mail village@oak-park.us.
