The Jazz Ensemble and Jazz Combo competed at the 30th Annual Purdue Jazz Festival on Jan. 18-19 and placed 3rd and 1st, respectively! Senior Rufus Parenti received the “Outstanding Soloist of the Day” award for the big bands and senior Leo Buczkowski received the “Outstanding Rhythm Section Player of the Day” award for combos.
