Couple Steals From Woman In Wheelchair After Offering Help: Cops

OAK PARK, IL — Police are looking for a man and a woman who stole multiple items and personal documents from a victim's wheelchair while they helped her outside of a store in Oak Park Wednesday. The incident took place just before 5 p.m. at the Oak Park Discount Variety Store in the 400 block of N. Austin, police say.

According to police, the suspects offered to help the victim and then proceeded to take jewelry, groceries, a scarf, and other items from her. No suspects are currently in custody.
