Driver Pulls Over, Slaps Pedestrian In Oak Park: Cops
The incident took place Wednesday morning, police say.

OAK PARK, IL --- Oak Park police are investigating an incident in which a driver pulled over, got out of their car, and hit a pedestrian in the face. The incident took place Wednesday morning in the 1000 block of S. Humphrey.
The victim told police that the driver of a silver 2016 Kia got out of the car and started a verbal argument with them. The driver then allegedly hit the victim in the face "with an open hand," according to a police report.
The suspect was last seen fleeing southbound on Humphrey.
