Early Voting Starts Oct. 22 In Oak Park

OAK PARK, IL ---- With Election Day right around the corner, Oak Park residents can cast an early vote starting Oct. 22. Voters can cast a ballot at Village Hall, 123 Madison St., during early voting hours from Oct. to Monday, Nov. 5.

If you missed the deadline for voter registration, you can also register to vote at village hall with a valid ID and utility bill to verify your address. Grace period voters must cast their ballots right after registering, according to village officials.

Times for early voting in Oak Park are as follows:

• Oct. 22 through Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Oct. 29 through Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Nov. 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Nov. 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If you prefer to vote by mail, you can request a mail-in ballot before Nov. 1. On Election Day, Nov. 6, polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
