Derby Lite, the edgy new roller skating fitness class that uses the skills and drills of traditional women’s roller derby in a non-impact, non-competitive workout environment, is hosting a winter “Get in Gear” Day. The event is FREE and all ladies 18 and older are invited!
Bring your helmet and join us from 1:30-3pm or 3-4:30pm Sunday Dec. 18, at The ARC Building, 18 Chicago Ave. in Oak Park to see if Derby Lite’s Fun & Fitness is for you. Each 90-minute segment includes a demo by current members, a mini-lesson so ladies can try out skates and protective gear, and time to skate just for fun.

Derby Lite holds classes for the Park Districts of Oak Park, Forest Park, Wheaton, Carol Stream, Norridge, Prospect Heights and three NEW locations in January 2012 in the City of Chicago.
