Five Chicago Teens Charged In Oak Park Robbery, Armed Robbery
On Friday June 2, a 15- and 16-year-old Chicago juvenile stole an iPhone . On June 4, three juveniles brandished a semi-automatic weapon.

OAK PARK, IL — Five teenage boys from Chicago have been charged with two separate robberies that took place in Oak Park last month, police said. The first incident took place on June 2 and the second incident took place on June 4, according to Chicago Tribune.
Police reported that the first armed robbery occurred around 10:24 p.m. at the 200 block of North Scoville Friday June. A 15-year-old and 16-year-old were arrested and charged with robbery and attempted robbery, Chicago Tribune reports. One of the juveniles allegedly struck the victim in the face while demanding his phone. A second victim reportedly fell to the ground as the other suspect demanded that victim's phone. Both suspects were located shortly after fleeing the scene.
The second reported robbery occurred in the 7oo block of North Maple when three juveniles approached a victim at approximately 1:42 a.m. on Sunday, June 4. Police said one teen displayed a semi-automatic weapon when demanding money and an iPhone. After fleeing, the three Chicago teens were identified a few blocks away from the scene of the armed robbery. They were then charged with armed robbery and are being detained at the juvenile detention center, Chicago Tribune reported.
