Here's to Your Health: Common Cold Myths
A representative from Interim HealthCare will discuss common cold myths, prevention and treatment in this free seminar open to the public.
A representative from Interim HealthCare will present a talk titled, “Common Cold Myths,” at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at the Oak Park Arms retirement community, 408 S. Oak Park Ave.
Older adults can find dealing with the common cold especially challenging. In addition, a respiratory infection can make the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease more difficult.
The seminar is part of the ongoing monthly series called, “Here’s To Your Health.” The Interim Healthcare representative will lead an educational discussion on common cold myths and misconceptions.
