The Oak Park Historic Preservation Commission has set its sights on the Hulbert Subdivision as a potential new historic district for the village.

A public meeting has been scheduled for 7 p.m. April 27 at the Oak Park Library, 834 Lake St., to discuss the possibility of creating a National Register and a local designation for Hulbert Subdivision, according to the Chicago Tribune.
