Jaguar, Mercedes Stolen In Oak Park

OAK PARK, IL — Two vehicles were stolen Tuesday in Oak Park, police said. In both cases, the cars were left running unattended, according to a summary report from the Oak Park Police Department.

A blue 2005 Mercedes Benz was stolen at about 6:30 a.m. from the 100 block of Chicago, police said.

The second vehicle theft occurred in the 0-100 block of Harrison at about 10:10 p.m., police said. A black 2017 Jaguar XE was stolen and last seen southbound on Austin, followed by a dark blue Acura SUV.

The Jaguar was recovered by Chicago police a few hours later in the 3600 block of Congress, police said.

No arrests have been made.
