Janette Lin, MD, Joins Loyola Medicine’s Primary Care Team

Janette Lin, MD, has joined Loyola Medicine as a new primary care physician. Dr. Lin will see patients at the Loyola Center for Health at North Riverside.

Calling primary care the first line of defense in providing preventive services, Dr. Lin said it’s important to develop strong relationships with her patients in order to better personalize care for each patient.

“I like primary care because you develop long-term relationships with the patients,” Dr. Lin said. “You get to know people and what their lives are like.”

Dr. Lin is an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine in the Division of Internal Medicine at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She has seven years experience in primary care, previously working at Boston Medical Center and Kaiser Permanente in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Lin, of Oak Park, earned her medical degree at Brown University’s Albert Medical School. She is board certified in internal medicine.
