Jeremy Falcon Author Visit, 2/7 at 2 PM

Author Jeremy Falcon to Visit River Forest Library on 2/7 at 2 PM

Join us to hear local author and world traveler Jeremy Falcon talk about his new historical trilogy, “The Harmony of the Spheres”. This is the third in a series of talks on “Writing at the Edge”. This session is titled “Researching Fiction in the Real World”, which will continue the discussion of Creative Reality by exploring how the people and places in history influence the historical fictions they’ve inspired. The question is: can fictional people influence history as well?

Jeremy Falcon has worked as a university professor and on a loading dock, as a classical musician and as a cab driver, as a writer and as a window washer. He is a teacher who has learned more from his students than they have from him, and a student who feels less educated the more he studies. He travels widely, searching for places where there are no tourists. This has gotten him into trouble occasionally, but so far he has managed to talk his way out of the predicaments his lack of common sense has gotten him into. He intends to continue traveling as long as his legs will carry him, and to keep writing as long as he can still see the words on the page.

PS. Don’t worry! This discussion will be done long before the game starts!
