Kia Stolen After Left Running With Keys Inside In Oak Park

OAK PARK, IL -- An Oak Park resident's car was stolen Saturday afternoon after it had been left running with the keys inside. The car, a 2018 Kia Optima, was stolen from outside of a residence in the 100 block of Madison, according to a police summary.

Police say the victim told them that the unlocked car had been left unattended for about four minutes when it was stolen just before 3:15 p.m. No information was available regarding a description of the suspect or suspects.

The vehicle was valued at $27,015.
