Kickapoo Woods Boat Launch Grand Opening (Saturday, Sept 26,1-4pm)

Learn the history of the Little Calumet and celebrate the grand opening of the new boat launch. Check out a watershed model, learn about urban impacts, and get info on river restoration and recreation.

Bring your own canoe or use one of ours. A limited number of boats are available to loan. Canoe instruction provided. all paddles are for ages 5 and up. To reserve a spot, call 708-386-4042 x23 or email experience.nature@cookcountyil.gov.
