Last Suspect In Oak Park 7-Eleven Armed Robbery Arrested
Police arrested the third and final suspect in the 7-Eleven armed robbery attempt that took place on Dec. 11.

OAK PARK, IL — Oak Park Police arrested a third suspect in connection with an attempted armed robbery that took place at 7-Eleven on Dec. 11. One teen had been shot by an employee during the incident at 240 Chicago Ave., another had been taken into custody, and a third had fled the scene, according to police. Police arrested this final suspect Wednesday.
According to a police summary, the teen, a Chicago resident, was taken into custody just before 5 p.m. in the 100 block of Oak Crest Dr. in Carpentersville, about an hour northwest of Oak Park. After police arrested the teen, he was taken to Oak Park Police Department and then transferred to Cook County Juvenile Detention Center.
He has been charged with armed robbery and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

The teen suspect who was shot during the attempted robbery is still hospitalized and has not yet been charged, Chicago Tribune reports.
