Lemonmade is Open For Business
New kids barber shop taking customers on North Marion Street.

Attention kiddos. You've got a new place for haircuts.
Lemonmade Styles & Snips for Kids, 187 N. Marion St. in Oak Park, is open for business. The kid-friendly hair cuttery is the creation of River Forest native John Haagenson, a father of three familiar with bringing the kids to a haircut, an adventure fraught with peril.
"How many hours have I listened to one or all three cry about it or put up a tantrum in front of everyone? I’ve struggled for eight years to find the right place without having to drive far… and my friends tell me the same thing," he said on the store's website. "Getting a haircut shouldn’t be that difficult. That’s why I created Lemonmade. It’s designed for the kids to enjoy their experience, but more importantly, for Mom and Dad to relax."

To that end, Lemonmade offers kids a play area while waiting for haircuts from trained stylists. During their cut, they'll get to choose between TV, movies or PlayStation. Parents meanwhile will have a place to lounge.
Store hours are 9:30 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. To schedule an appointment, call (708) 948-7769, visit the official Lemonmade website or email info@lemonmadestyle.com.
